If a disk does not eject from the Zip Internal drive, one of the following suggestions should solve the problem:
The NTFS format is a fixed disk file system, which locks the disk when it is mounted under Windows NT. This means that once you access an NTFS formatted Zip disk, the disk will no longer eject using the eject button on the front of the drive. To eject the disk, you must first close any windows listing the disk contents, then use the software eject command (available when you right mouse click on the Zip drive icon on your Desktop or in My Computer).
This happens if Windows NT has set the Zip Internal drive as the location for the system page file. To eliminate the problem under version 4.0, open the Control Panel and double click on the System icon. Click the Performance tab and change the location of the system page file. Note that you may not be able to use the default hard drive as the location for the system page file if it does not have sufficient space available. (This may be why Windows NT set the Zip drive as the system page file location.)
Changing drive letter assignments under Windows NT is complicated and technical. For instructions, refer to the MS Knowledgebase at:

When copying disks in the Zip® drive, do not use Microsoft DISKCOPY.EXE or the CopyDisk utility that is available when you right mouse click on the Zip drive icon. These utililties only work correctly with floppy drive.
The IomegaWare CD contains several drivers to support Iomega SCSI and parallel port adapters. If you have a Zip ATAPI drive, you do not need to install these drivers on your system.
The Office 95 Find Fast Indexer does not recognize that a Zip ATAPI drive is removable under Windows NT. As a result, an error window will appear stating that the ATAPI drive is not ready. You can choose the Ignore option in the error window to skip the Zip drive and continue using Find Fast Indexer with other drives on your system. In order for Find Fast Indexer to work with a Zip ATAPI drive, a disk must be present in the Zip drive when the system boots. (This problem does not occur with a Zip SCSI Insider drive.)
