Windows 98

   Introduction:
   -------------
   This document describes the procedure to install  Windows 98
   driver for Realtek RTL8139 PCI Fast Ethernet adapter.

   Location of Driver:     \WIN98\RTL8139.SYS

   Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Windows 98 :
   -----------------------------------------------------
      Before you start with the installation process, make sure that your
      adapter should be properly installed in your PCI bus slot.
      Executing Windows 98, it will auto-detect your system configuration
      and find the adapter hardware.  ( If Win98 does not  prompt that it
      detects the PCI Ethernet adapter,there must be something wrong with
      the RTL8139 PCI Fast Ethernet adapter or your system enviroment.)

      1. Press Next button while Add New Hardware wizard appear.

      2. Please select "Search for the best driver for your device",
         Then press Next button;

      3. Select "Specify a location", then insert the driver disk into
         driver A and specify the setup file pathname A:\WIN98

      4. Windows 98 will appear some messages to insert Windows 98 system
         disk to complete setup step.

      5. Windows 98  will  finish  the  other  installation  procedure
         automatically, then ask you restart the system.
