METHOD 1: ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ In your CONFIG.SYS file, include the DEVICE command. Format: DEVICE = DE22XPD.SYS [/d] [/w] is the software interrupt vector number used by the packet driver program. This can be from 96 to 128. /d Delay Initial - The driver program will not initialize the network interface card until the packet driver program is accessed by its upper layer program. /w The -w parameter is for use only in the Windows environment. See \PKTDRV\README.TXT for addition parameters METHOD 2: ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ 1. In your AUTOEXEC.BAT file, include the following command lines: Format: set HOSTS= is the directory where the D-Link TCP/IP programs reside. 2. Issue DE22XPD command at the MS-DOS command prompt: Format: DE22XPD [/d] [/w] 3. Run TCPSTART.EXE, at the DOS command prompt, to start TCP/IP.
