Message-ID: <9304231633.AA21391@ncrnd3.StPaul.NCR.COM> If you want to play more than one patch from one midi channel try gusorgan. The program included in gusorg.exe that I uploaded to epas will play up to 16 patches from any midi channel. It receives midi data over the midi adapter and plays patches that you have selected. It also has a demo command that will play a Bach song using the patches that you have selected. All midi channels are mapped to one internal channel and that one channel controls the patches. You can turn patches on and of from the computer keyboard. Unfortunately, the articles in it were lost. Please resend your message if you sent one in yesterday. I've now put in measures to insure that will make it MUCH less likely that we'll lose messages, even if the digest barfs like it did last night. Of course, I've put the code in a little late... :-/ -- Dave ddebry@ debry@ \ "It was even less than a tuneup. It is a strange beast! If anyone has any good docs that they could mail me, I would greatly appreciate it. When finished, I will either post it to the digest or upload it to epas, depending on how long it is. Message-ID: <9304231926.AA07867@itchy> I've always wanted to meet readers from the list, and now I have the chance. I'm going to be in the San Francisco Bay area on May 4-6. If any of you are out there and would like to get in touch, let me know. (Essentially, I'm going to have a lot of free time out there and I don't know anyone in the area, so I'm looking for something to do. :) I could make T-shirts... Message-ID: <9304230916.AA28961@csufres.CSUFresno.EDU> The demo is fine until the story is over and the load game/save game/ end game is displayed. This screen is SOOOOO dim I have to turn the brightness and contrast up ALL THE WAY to even read the thing. Then when the game starts when it displays the ship in orbit around the solar system the display is still SOOOOOO dim I can't even see what is going on. Does anyone else have this problem???? I have a Genoa WindowsVGA 24 VL-BUS video card. What's the story. /****************************************************************************\ * Thomas Pearson |Internet: * * California State University, Fresno|thomasp@csufres.CSUFresno.EDU * \****************************************************************************/ ------------------------------ End of Ultrasound Daily Digest V3 #23 ************************************* Digest Address: ultrasound@dsd.es.com To post to tomorrow's digest Request Server Address: ultrasound-request@dsd.es.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, and request files Owner Address: ultrasound-owner@dsd.es.com To contact a human if the server has troubles FTP Sites: archive.epas.utoronto.ca pub/pc/ultrasound wuarchive.wustl.edu systems/msdos/ultrasound
