	      The setting of switch 1 on the EG-8 card is determined by:

	      1.  Display adapter already present in the system.
	      2.  Display adapter active on power up.
	      3.  Type of monitor attached to the EG-8.
	      4.  Mode of adapter on power up.

	      Please refer to the fig. below for the appropriate setting.
