LZ can be 0 or equal to Cyl. # Since DOS & OS/2 have a limitation of 1024 Cylinders you are restricted on the maximum capacity of these drives. ~ Parameters of drives without 1024 limitation. In some systems use a translation method. Divide the number of cylinders by 2 or 4 to get a # less than 1024. Then multiply the number of heads by that same number.
