Future Domain FDAUDIO (C) Future Domain Corporation, 1992 I. Running FDAUDIO: To run the Future Domain FDAUDIO program, type "FDAUDIO" at the DOS prompt. To enable FDAUDIO press [SHIFT][ALT] - F simultaneously, and the TSR should be displayed. To uninstall the FDAUDIO program, simply type "FDAUDIO" at the DOS prompt again, and the program should uninstall itself. II. Using FDAUDIO: The following keys are defined under the FDAUDIO TSR: Left Cursor Key: Moves the highlighted option to the left Right Cursor Key: Moves the highlighted option to the right ENTER Key: Selects the currently highlighted option Space Bar: Selects the currently highlighted option Escape Key: Exits the TSR The following options are available under the FDAUDIO TSR: ® Skip Back: skips back one track ¯ Skip Forward: skips forward one track < Fast Reverse: skips back 10 seconds into current track > Play: plays the current track if the CD is not currently playing Fast Forward: skips forward 10 seconds into the current track if the CD is currently playing " Pause/Resume: Pauses the current track if the CD is playing, or Resumes if the CD is paused þ Stop: stops the CD  Next CD: goes to the next CD player if there is more than one CD on the system (for example, if the current CD is at drive letter D:, then the next CD will be at E:)  Previous CD: goes to the previous CD player if there is more than one CD on the system (for example, if the current CD is at drive letter E;, then the previous CD would be D:) Mode: Allows the user to select CONTINUOUS, SHUFFLE, or SINGLE mode. II. Limitations: 1) Windows 2) The only known limitation to this application is the uninstall func- tion. If the FDAUDIO program is already installed, and another TSR is installed that uses the same interrupts, running FDAUDIO again may not uninstall the utility if the second TSR re-chained some of the interrupts that were chained by FDAUDIO. 3) You may have compatibility problems having FDAUDIO loaded at the same time you are running a program on the CD-ROM drive. To fix this prob- lem uninstall FDAUDIO by typeing "FDAUDIO" at the DOS prompt.
