Challenger's in Europe??

Postby PeO » 11 Jun 2004 23:05

I try to keep a register of all Challenger that ever been registered with Swedish license plates. The total no is 449 cars :D of them is only 72 deleted which means scrapped or exported :?: I have the full VIN of all except 18  which I only have the Swedish license No. (In Sweden a car will have the same license No. from the first day it be legal in the country until it's scrapped or exported) I attach a list in .pdf with the qty of cars for each VIN type.
How is it in the rest of Europe? Dave looks to keep track of the cars in UK. Is it some interest to combine the info from different countries?
Everybody with some info of Challenger from Sweden are welkom with a mail.

Errr.

To be honest I am hopeless at collecting and keeping details of Challengers in the UK. Whenever I see one I always look at the numbers but never write them down. I spend too much time talking to the owners and having a good old chat. The thought of actually writing anything down goes right out of the window.
Besides. People think I am like a Mopar equivilent of a train spotter as it is without me producing paper and pencil at every sight of a Challenger.

The Chairman of the Mopar Muscle association UK, Matthew Hollingsworth, keeps a register of all the Mopars that have ever been in the club or seen at shows but this register goes more on description and UK licence plate than it does actual VIN. Now he really IS a train spotter! :D
His e-mail is matthew@moparuk.com if you want to contact him.

PeO,
I tried to download your list, but my software is not compatible. I would love to see it though, if you could print it out and send me a copy I would appreciate it very much. I am sure that I can send you something in return to reciprocate. :D

What is the deffinition of "trainspotter" I am quite curious to know.

T/Ake care,

Try right clicking link and select 'Save as'. Then open it from folder you saved to. If it still fails you're missing Adobe Reader (aka Adobe Acrobat Reader) or it's too old version. It's free download from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Thanks jr, that may explain it. For whatever reason, my system does not care for Acrobat Reader, I have installed updated versions from time to time and I still can not open some files. It could be me as well though, I am quite "computer illiterate". Peo was able to send it to me in an email though, so I do have it now.

thanks!
