Got meself a nice pair of front chin spoilers, they have an approx 3/8" hole at each end and they came with some 1/2' AF size fateners.
Question is, how do I position them to get it looking right?
Even thought of bonding it them to the front valance, with some industrial adhesive that I keep at work, instead of drilling the sheet metal ......a couple pix might help if anyone could post some up for me

First of all, these were fitted by the dealers and not at the factory in case of damage. So as original they were not always fitted well or correctly.

The outer edges are the ends that have a sharpest angle to them. They but right up to where the front valance starts to curve for the front running lights/turn signals.

Mine were previously owned fibreglass copies and came with little thin bolts. I went bigger on the bolts and distributed the force with washers and a strip of composite.

But my front valance was not completely straight ( two RTAs in it's life) and there were gaps between the spoilers and the valance.

Not sure I remember but looking at the photos it looks like I cut two lengths of steel and beat them to the same profile of the spoilers. Then bolted them to the valance and worked the valance to the same profile.

Then I think I initially fitted the spoilers with the steel to the valance and bolted it back on the car. Only then did I replace the steel with the lighter composite.

Does that make sense?

I did all this before getting the car re-sprayed of course.

I'm going to be doing the very same thing Ade. Don't know if I'll go with the 1ST Place auto products "Chin Spoilers" as you have although I love the look of those! Anyways, Ive been looking at the MoPar track cars, and it seems to me that most of the OEM style spoilers are for looks rather than function,,don't know could be wrong? But I see a lot of competitive cars that use full length spoilers that are very low to the ground. Too low! They wouldn't survive on the street, at least where I live. Rail road tracks, potholes, ect. I love Drews frnt spoiler! His seems to be the best of both worlds.I may have to pay him to build me one! (He's talented with "plastic" fab work). I'm not

Yeah I'm very jealous of Drews front spoiler, he's got that looking just right, you reckon he'd do commissions?

I'm probably going to add the go-Wing at some point. I might have to add those chin spoilers too as they look cool!

Jeeze after almost 6 months my ears are not ringing.........I was gonna heavy duty velcro those "eye brows" on my car so I could remove them if necessary

Ok, as I knew they are all installed in an other way and I did it almost free like I want, I wanted to know if it is in the center and on the same height. So I extended the the sides on the computer with a straight line to see how I did.

I think almost perfect, I like it, and it looks like pic itself is not perfect centered. Maybe you can use it to fit yours.

Price of piss ain't it? Stuck em on with double sided tape to check positioning was good and then drilled front valance to take M6 hardware...........

Finally you've mounted it...

My car is lowered with Hotchkis stuff since last year, the look is much better now. I think I have to make a comparison pic.

Yeah, that's the bad side of i***-pics. But if you (I) click on the pic to enlarge it, it comes the right way...

Your spoilers are so glossy, mine are matte.

Good point Christer ......but cos I use my iPhone for the web (and pix always looks fine on my iPhone even if it isn't) I don't see the outcome until one of you spot the error

I do not use an iPhone myself. (I use a old school phone with buttons. ) Maybe you can try to use a different App when you take (upload, handle) the pix?

Or you could just hold the phone the right way up when taking the pictures.

That spoiler should work up side down, it dont matter
