D-O-D-G-E hood emblem

Postby christer » 08 Dec 2012 17:51

Hi ! The D-O-D-G-E emblem in the attached pic´s is said to come from a Dodge Dart (1967?) Question: Are they the same as on a Challenger or do they somehow differ? Thanks!

They look much flatter to me. The ones on my Chally hood are about a half inch high I think.

I managed to see the part number on the G-letter: 2785204. According to the Interchange manual the usage is Dodge Dart -68 GT only. I guess that the mystery is solved. :s022:

Yes, I am looking for a set. A couple of years ago, I bought a used R/T-hood but the D-O-D-G-E letters were not included.

Little bit of corrosion on the spares I have. But they are the originals from the hood of my old 440 R/T.

Anything else while I have the tin out?

Wow, that would be great! I am not that picky when it comes to the condition. They do not need to be perfect. THANKS A LOT! I have got some brochures and other automobilia in case you would like to trade. Just let me know if there is anything you are searching for. BTW; I am also intrested in the rear fender mouldings. I know that at least one of mine has got a dent.

These rear quarter mouldings ones are off a '71. So not correct for a 70. But you are welcome to them if you can use them.

The 71-74 version has a small notch. The ´70 version hasn´t got this notch. The 70 version has a more flat surface, so to say.
