How much can you cram under an R/T hood compared to say a T/A hood?
I got a Performer rpm intake, a 1" spacer, an Eddy 750 and a 3" air cleaner, will it fit?
I think Drew runs a really deep filter
Reason is cos I had a glass R/T hood repaired and painted but I wasn't happpy with the fit and lack of rigidity, but I dont wanna lay out for a new steel hood if it's still too tight.
I've seen some pix of a MrNorm prepped Chally from the early 70's and it had an early Hemi style superstock scoop and it looked smart

I would say no, it will not fit under the R/T hood.

Having said that it MIGHT just fit under a glass hood. But it would be very tight if it did.

I had a 3" filter on top of my sixpack which had a 1/4" spacer under the carbs. That did just fit but only after cutting the middle out of the support brace across the underside of the hood.
