HELP!!! WHAT ARE THESE TO????

Postby cv70chall » 20 Dec 2011 15:49

OK, So I'm getting down to where I have maybe 1-2 cans of bolts, screws, nuts and so forth. I've come across these few that I have no clue where they belong. I think- the nuts and studs are for the tail light housings- as there are some missing, but I want to make sure these weren't used somewhere else in the car. HELP.
Also, can anyone provide a diagram of the top AC lines and where the metal bracket goes that would hold these down? (I don't have a photo of it, but it's metal and looks like it holds down (2) lines and secures with one screw. (I somehow remember this being on the fender- maybe the passenger side?)
HELP.

I think that the screws mount the front clip to the fenders.

The second item looks like the hardness that bolts to the master cylinder and holds the wiring harness.

Hope that helps.

And what about the bracket? Could it possibly be from inside?

Thanks

I think that the bracket mounts above the master cylinder and holds the wiring harness coming from the bulkhead to the battery/starter relay area. Trying to find a photo...

Taillights, the clip may be for the tail light wiring, I have not seen one off the car in quite a while.

Yes, the studs and captured washer/nuts are for the taillight housing. 12 in total I think. As for the clip would it be inside the rocker panel wireway?

Thanks. I figured the studs/ nuts were to the tail lights but wanted to be sure.
Regarding the bracket, can you supply a photo showing it's exact location?

Here is a pic of the brackets on a drumbrake car that i asume you brackets are for and you can also see the location of the wire lome (Plastic wire clip) i driscribed for you under the wiper motor on the firewall.

Thanks! I can clearly see where that wire clip goes.
As for the brackets, they are only for the manual brake setup? I have updated this to power and added a booster, so maybe I no longer use them, right?

If you have updated to power brake then you need another bracket and it is only one like in this picture !

Don't mean to overstep your topic cv , After looking at an old photo of my engine compartment, I spy that bracket over the booster. Don't know when I chucked it (or why  ) but could use another. Any sources available?
