Hood springs for a glass hood?

Just about to install my freshly painted R/T glass hood but I'm unsure as to use no springs and a stay, just hood pins or try and find some correct lighter load springs, any ideas :idea: I assume the correct ones are hard to find thats all...............well happy with it tho, looks the dogs :mrgreen:

Depends how well re-enforced the sides of the hood are mate. If they are steel re-enforced down the sides you need springs just strong enough to lift it once past half way.

But if the hood is just glass then springs will make it bend up in the middle all the time.
