Trunk Bumpers?

Postby cv70chall » 19 Aug 2011 20:18

Can anyone tell me where I would correctly place the little rubber trunk bumpers? Once again, the fact that it's been a good 10 months since I've worked on this area results in my forgetting where things go!

Thanks

Those look like they may be for the doors.

Yeah, there has to be some sort of bumper for the trunk. Mine seems to "hit" fairly hard when I open it and I figure there must be some sort of stop bumper for it.

Thanks

There are round rubber bumpers at the rear of the trunk lid....one on each side. There aren't any stop bumpers for when the trunk lid is opened. If it's opening too fast, you can adjust the torsion springs to a different slot. I believe the farthest slot to the rear has the least amount of tension.

Have you got a photo of the stoppers?
Thanks again!
