Absolutely unbelievable effort gone into this, the detail is amazing. He certainly picked a difficult car to do this - all the extra detail work with the aircond and unusual colour combo. $3000 for 5 NOS wiper motors, $900 for an ashtray, resonators $$$, he must have some dough. But he will get some back with his repro line.

Never seen a factory trans mount yellow like that. And also never seen LCA in that finish except on restored cars. Makes me chuckle seeing the half painted battery lead, looks like a backyard quickie, but that's how they came out. Also the bad finish on end of dash, amazing they let them out of the factory like that, fair enough about the oil pan or firewall drips but didn't the inspectors worry about things that were so visible to everyone inside the car? That sort of thing would give them a bad name. I wonder if restorers put things like this in or if his actually did have a bad crashpad like this. Its a bit silly putting it in 'for originality' if it didn't have it in the first place, as the majority would not have had it. But certainly a one of one car in many ways

I don't think your car is what anyone would call "restored". Do you? :D

Check the definitions for 'restored' & 'customised' at http://dictionary.reference.com/ if needed.
