There are quite a few things on my Car that are not correct, like the proper 'finishes' on the fasteners, no blackout treatment, ect. But I think the grill mounting is fine.

Does the grille have the same sheet metal tabs that the fenders, etc, do, for the fasteners to go into?

Yes. The same sort of thing. Not as big as the fender ones.

That grille cannot have looked that sweet even as new from factory(?) :D Looks sweet in satin black anyhow...
I can guess that the car of yours indeed is real eye candy to look at irl Ed! (It would be cool to see all of the board members cars irl of course) :D

Do you have photos of the finished grille? I'm trying to see the correct colors for the egg crating area for an R/T versus a non-R/T.

Thanks

The actual egg crating area is natural bare metal in all cases. I chose to paint mine black.

I refer you back to this thread and link that you have seen before. Worth checking out the grille on that car.

The egg crate portion is anodized aluminum.

It is not bright anodised like the surround though is it?

The eggcrate does not appear to have the 'polished' appearance that the surround does. This one is dirty, but you can see a difference.
