You need to talk to Patrick, Jeff  He's going through the same thing I think.

You will have to drill new hole's in the lower location to fit the 70-72 style bumperette's. Or you could get a 70-72 bumper. Which mean's, you also need 70-72, bumper bracket's. Like Eddie said, I've been pondering this situation, for quite some time. Since the 73' style bumper's I have are brand new, I will have the 73' bumperette's rechromed. I do have 70' bumper bracket's, if I change my mind. Thing is, 70' bracket's won't fit 73-74 bumper's. And you won't like the look of 70-72 bumperette's, sticking out, two inch's away from the valence. you would have to fab some kind of filler. If you get the whole 70-72, combonation, your in business. I decided to keep mine original for now. But, I did remove the big pad's, up front.
Good Luck; Pat

Where did you get your new bumper's? I got mine from "Auto Metal Direct". They are Authentic Mopar Restoration part's. Triple Chrome and nickle plated. Better than original. If you got your bumper's from them, you still might be able to swap. I got a super deal on the bumper bracket's and, have been haggeling over the bumperette's. In the mean time, I've restored the bumper molding, and re-installed my original bumper. It's not quite, the end of the season and, I didn't want my car without it's hind end. I've had time enough to appreciate the mint bumper molding and, I have ALL the 73 part's. So, at the end of the season, I will take it apart, again. Have my 73' bumperette's rechromed. The rubber pad's are in excellent shape. I've seen many car's, with the slot's, patched in. They look great, too! Decision's...Decision's.
Good luck on what you decide! Oh, and I'm glad you got your car running good, too!
