I'm restoring a 72 Challenger. I've used the large fibreglass headlight panel from a 74. In 73-74 the headlight panel had a 3 piece plastic bumper filler screwed to it. As a result the panel has cutouts on the ends to which the fillers covered.
My question is, did the 72 have any bumper fillers?

i think the filler was added in 73 and 74 to fill in the space the new 5 mph bumper created.

Thanks Ted. Thats what I thought. I think the cutouts were there to allow the bumper to retract without damaging the panel. I guess I'll simply fill in the cutouts and the screw holes.
Before I do this, can someone with a 72 (Hans or Jack T) verify if their cars have any fillers.
