Correct Windshield clips??

Postby Jimiboy » 26 Jun 2008 8:33

I have some clips gone/ loose molding, and should be happy for advice. Found these clips, are these the correct ones and everything that needs to hold down molding to front window? (how many should there be?) Can anybody describe the procedure pherhaps? Is it a bad idea to try this myself? A bit scared that i brake the molding maybe(?) :|

Thanks!

I do not recognize them and I doubt that they are correct. I have only looked for ´70 clips though so I might be wrong.

I think the '70 clips are different to the later years. Not sure what the later ones look like.

Someone asked about these a few weeks ago. I can't remember what we said. :?

Oh it was a question about removing the trim. That is what it was.

These are the 1970 clips. If you can make them out (I should take a close-up) . I don't know what the later ones were like.

Have a look at this chapter on my web site. The clips are toward the end of this set of pics. I was able to get 24 clips and screws at a local body shop for about $6.00...........
