71 quarter panel scoops • The Dodge Challenger Message Board

I posted this subject last week, and somehow screwed up and it got in the picture section. Obviously i'm a rookee at this. I have a 71 RT that had new lower quarters put on before i bought the car and i bought the scoops to put on but i want to make sure i get them in the right spot. Can someone who has these give me some measurements, say from the edge of the quarter behind the door back to the scoop and from the bottom up.Anything would help. Thanks.

If anyone else needs this information I finally got it from a guy on ebay who was selling his 71. He was nice enough to get all thes measurements for me so hopefully someone else might be able to use these.

Notice that the measurements varies from side to side. In the perfect world they should be the same.

Very typical of Chrysler build quality. They were probably fitted by hand so dimensions (for many other parts too) will vary.
