Yes, ordered tail light lenses and bezels from PG. Box was shipped from China and took only one week. Repro mirrors are from same place.

These are good enough for my needs. No idea how they compare to nos parts, but these are at least a lot cheaper. :)

I know that one of our members was telling me that the chrome on the taillight trims was very thin. He polished them with metal polish and it wore through straight away. So don't go at them with anything even slightly abrasive.

Those look eerily similar to mine JR! I used David Sewards pieces. The PG classics if those are what they are, appear to have improved QC since I saw them last at the INDY trade show. Your pieces look really nicely made!

Yes these are from PG. If you look closely second one from bottom you can see where Chrysler logo has been scratched away on right side of marker housing. All parts are like that. On lenses it's either removed from mold or smoothed, but you can still see very small reflection if you look closely (not on pics, but live).

Yep! They simply scratched them off, weird, maybe it didnt comply with the "authentic" program MoPar started a few years ago? Either way the quality looks markedly improved. Much cheaper than the 1200.00 mine cost! :fight: (Of course they didnt offer them in the late 90's)

Someone somewhere (sounds very credible source of information as usual) said that not so perfect ones end up losing their Chrysler logo. Supply and demand plays role as well I'd guess.

These are supposed to be same parts as PG sells, but with logo. At least on sales photos they have logos and ad says authentic resto part.

However, these door handles are listed as authentic resto part, but photo shows version with logo removed after chroming. Link

You can't sell stuff with a Chrysler mark or number on unless authorised by Chrysler.

Well you can but they have very good lawyers.

PG, has a lot of licenced products with the logo, you have to ask for the ones with the logo and you will pay more for it because ma mopar gets her cut. A friend of mine is a dealer for PG here in Ontario . Pg is now making 70 Ebody seat belts . :s025:

The seatbelts are another 'high dollar' item if you dont have an original set. until this great news about PG's belts, you couldnt find them re-produced unless you wanted to spen a grand from ssnaykoyl or salvage a used set and refurbish them yourself but you would still have to send the buckles off to the plater. Cool! Again I spent way more money :fight:

It might be worth checking their website as well http://www.pgclassic.com/ . When I ordered there was some price differences between Ebay and website. I also got nice discount by simply making list of parts I was interested and asking quote for all of them together.

I've noticed that with other vendors as well. Usually cheaper on the auctions. Maybe that is where they try to liquidate there excess inventory??

So jr, are those the 2-1/2" exhaust tips? Chrome plated or stainless? Please send some pictures once they are installed. :)

Eddie and Pat, Some sellers on E bay had the jack setups for 71 up, along with space saver spares the other day. I have been hunting for the base, wrench, and the air bottle setup for my 70 but no luck yet.

Mine were cheaper skipping ebay.

Exhaust tips are 3" stainless. You'll get photos eventually, but don't hold your breath yet. Maybe in year or two. :)
