On a 70 r/t tail light bezal the trim has a black ring around it, should the marker bezal have black paint in the grove around the bezal?

If you are referring to the side marker, mine does not. All chrome.

I think he's referring to this? It's chrome, the 'black' is around the perimeter not the inner portion.

I was asking about both. I was preatty sure about the rear, not sure about the side markers. Might look good if it was, but kind of hard to see its so small.

It will be tough to get the paint to stick though. There is a spray can product that adhere to smooth surfaces and plastic. Got a can somewheres in the garage. :?

If you do paint it black please post a photo. :)

Yeah , Greg, as far as the rear bezel is concerned, the outer perimeter is black and must be a special blend because the paint is eggshell. It's similar to flat black paint, not shiny at all. The inner portion is chrome. I have billet aluminum bezels on the rear and side markers.
