I'm not sure what red shaker 440+6 car is being referred to above, but if it's the one in the 1970 brochure, or this one, the car is Go Mango.

The research on this forum is impressive. Good stuff.

hard to validate so many items with the limited forensics, but what i've related above is best I gleaned from varous interviews and such. Lived the life in Detroit for a long while. In Norfolk now, completely different culture.

One point I'd invite you guys to scratch on more is the late 71 n96 stuff. Now I didn't live with that car its whole life, but it show'd 96, and the history look good back to the early 70s with the T/A hood. So looked right. Guys who were rolling the fenders remembered, but the guys I know also weren't afraid of a beer, which can effect memory. I think that car is still in Michigan.

regardless...just enjoy the cars. it's all good!

I don't know where my copy is, but it's gotta be either Sept or Oct of 1969.
