What and how do you guys clean and maintain the paint and chrome/stainless trim? I bought the Wunder Towels from www.autopia-carcare.com made in Germany, the Concourse towels.

I use Liquid Glass for the paint and Mother's Chrome polich for the chrome and stainless. :thumbsup:

My car is Hemi Orange and it looks fantastic. I would not use Liquid Glass if my car was black or a very dark color. Alot more work.

Thanks David, I saw that stuff before and didnt know what to think. Your car looks beautiful. Is it easy to remove once applied, or is there some major rubbing to remove? I went to Zaino website but that stuff has two "qualities" I find disturbing. First you must "mix" some of their products. Second it's not natural caranauba wax, it's synthetic. I am not comfortable with that. :frown:

I use a buffer to remove the polish and then finish the car with a good polishing rag. After you finish wiping off, they suggest leaving it in the sun for 4 hours. This will harden the polish giving you an excellent deep shine. I started of putting on 1 coat per month. I have about 6 or 7 on now, works great.

David, what kind of buffer do you suggest? I've never used an electric/air buffer before and dont want to cause any damage. Can you just use the microfiber towels? These towels I got are supersoft and are made for clearcoat, but if an electric buffer will achieve superior results I'll switch to that. What do you suggest as far as brand name? Thanks, Eddie

Any buffer will do, as long as the material you are putting on the car is soft. For years, on al my cars, i used a very soft cloth. I'll try anything that makes the work easier.
