does anyone know what the correct paint color is for the astrotone applique that goes above the rear lights on a 1970 challenger western sport special, also what color should the front grille be on this model black, or argent silver? thanks in advance trev.y

Same silver as on the 1970 ralley wheel centers you have Trev. Don't know where you would get it.

Your grille should be silver.

The bezel was silver? Thats lucky. Most you used to see for sale (when you could get them) were black. Just match everything to that bezel and you should be OK.

I have been told the rear panel is a few shades darker than the argent silver paint everyone advertises and sells today as correct. I have seen a few cars, including mine, that have darker shades on the rear finish panel. Could Chrysler have done something wierd here? Who knows. If someone has a contact for really correct paint for this panel I'd like to buy some. Steve
