Door edge protectors

Postby coggers24 » 15 Nov 2006 22:05

The A05 code (protection group) lists door edge protectors as a feature. If anyone has a photo of these could they please post it? I've seen some chrome one's on a 'cuda but never on a Challenger.

Cheers

I had them on my car but one got damaged in a crash and got lost at the repair shop.

I think I still have the drivers side one someplace.

V7W stripes

Postby jh27n0b » 29 Nov 2006 20:43

Hey Barry, Sorry for the delay in replying. Nice long holiday. I tried to duplicate this factory stripe frrom some photos that you sent me via e-mail. Therefore I am not sure if these stripe are completly accurate. I tried to reference the engineering drawings that you posted but I didn not have much luck in deciphering them. When I look at the factory sales brochure, the yellow convertible shows what appears to be the dual stripe lower on the beltline. However it could be depicting the body side moulding. When I bought the car in 1982 the stripes were on the upper body line and in tape. Which is I believe the correct location. Any help in the correct location would be greatly appreciated. I duplicated the tape for now, but this winter I want to paint them on in the correct location as well as the right orientation.

Thanks
Bob
