rear window louvers ?

bought these on ebay a time ago, now finally recieved them, i always wanted louvers, but i only saw them on pictures... does any one have some experience with installing window louvers ? i does have hinges at the top and two moldings at the bottom...

should i just glue it on the window ?

ps : sounds silly, but why does it has a hinge ? :oops:
