Hood Molding question

What is the diffrence between the hood molding on a T/A fiberglass hood and the hood molding for a steel hood? The reason I am asking is becasue I need one for my 70 challenger with a T/A hood and I don't want to buy one that doesn't fit. Yearone lists a front hood molding but it excludes the T/A hood. Can someone tell me what the diffrence is? Thanks~ Matt :V8:

If you have a sheet metal hood or any part next to the fiberglass..You notices how much thicker the glass is compare to sheet metal.. On factory parts, ther is not as much of a difference.. Until you try to install the parts, such as trim etc... 8)

So you would need longer clips to go through the thick fibreglass. But if I remember right the clips are not part of the moulding so I don't see the reason for a difference in the trim itself? :?

Or does the different part number mean you get different clips with it and the moulding is the same? :s008:

8) accord to the loose leaf bible. the molding are the same, and yes the moldings back then did come with clips..Not like now days, clips what clips? The clips were different..The mdlg..seem to be the same being it had to match the fender trim.. 8)
