The Dodge Challenger Message Board

I am at the point of assembling the window and door latch mechanisms inside the doors to my R/T SE. This car came incomplete and I did not take these areas apart, so I have no disassembly experience to fall back on. My question is what order does one go about this? I do not want to make a mistake here and wind up with broken door glass.

I just took the glass out of my door the other week Jack. Couldn't get the pesky door mirror off without doing that. The screw inserts were spinning.

I found the glass would not come out without most of the workings too. I think the workshop manual (which I read later) has detailed instructions for taking it out and especially puting it back in.
The door handles can be done last of all because I have replaced those before without touching the glass.
