Black paint on tail light bezel/ fender bolts body color • The Dodge Challenger Message Board

I've got a 70 Challenger, I dont know if the tail light bezels should have a black paint ring on the edge or should they just be chrome? Also body color on fender bolts and u-nuts, Should the bolts have body color on them? If so how and why did the factory do it?

I am not a restoration expert but I believe you are correct to paint the recessed ring on the taillight bezels flat black.

I think the car was painted with the fenders in place so the bolts would be painted too.
