The Dodge Challenger Message Board

I just had the windshield replaced on my '70 Chally. While the old glass was off, I realized that the car's VIN plate is affixed to the top of the dash pad. I am planning on replacing the old pad, but how is this done without disturbing the VIN plate?

You will have to drill out the rivets and swap the plate over to the new dash. You can pick up "correct" looking rivets on eBay, but they are painfully expensive!
