Curious if anyone has some tips for restoring my lenses. My tail light lenses needs the full process of sanding and buffing. I found a Nuvo Shine kit offered through Year One, but I would like to tackle this, this weekend.

Curious if anyone knows of some products I could get without ordering a kit? Thanks

Home alone, broke, and bored. That's not an invite!

For future knowledge, here's the process I used. Do this, and they will turn out perfect - better than new. Hell - you'd swear they were glass.

wet sand virtical and horizontal strokes.
400-2000 ( I went 400, 600, 800, 1200, 1500, 2000)

Then through on a buffer. Truthfully, you probably don't want any compound on it, as it will still bring to shine. I put a number #6 high polish for metal and plastic on. I ended up taking it off. Absolutely no pressure is to be applied. You should barely touch the lense to the buffer.

Glass I tell you! I'm happy. I love my chally - I treat her good. :D
