Can everybody tell me if a R/T hood blackout (flat black) could be original for a 72 Rallye 340. I'm thinking about putting one on my hood but like to know if that's "correct". My fender tag says that mine had originally a R/T hood, but doesn't say anything about a hood blackout.

V21, performance hood treatment, is listed as an available MOPAR option for 1972, so I imagine it could have been ordered.
