Wiper hook-up

Finally got around to working on my '74 this weekend and found that the motor and switch are fine. Turns out that the "driver arm" is not attached to the motor stud. Also turns out that the stud on the motor is too short to attach the arm. Is there some sort of adapter or cam or something that attaches to the motor then to the driver arm? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yeah there is an arm that goes from the motor to the long wiper arm. it also has a slight bend in it.

These drawings from my 1970 manual might help.

Many thanks, Dave, they certainly do. The drive link connection is what I'm missing. Trying to find it locally...wish me luck!

Finally make the connection with my local Mopar parts guy, and my wiper motor is now connected to the wiper transmission arms! Now to verify that they all move correctly before attaching the wiper arms (are they keyed in some fashion to make sure they line up correctly?), then on to the washer bottle and plumbing.

Each pivot is splined so you just pull of the wiper arm and replace it a little further clockwise or anti-clockwise to adjust where the blades wipe.

You might find this diagram for the washers usefull too.

Dave,
I knew that they were splined - figured I'd have to do a little "trial and error" on their location. The diagram for the washers is GREAT! This should be very helpful.
