I received my new spoiler from Year One. So, What color is the spoiler suppose to be? Like what black color. I have under hood black, I have frame black, but I want it the right color.

Thanks

Ok, it is painted. Looks great. I forgot the front dams tho, so I still have to paint them.

Now, where is the proper placement for the rear spoiler? If someone can give me a measurement from the rear of the trunk lid, that would be good enough. Or to the bolt holes. Either would be fine.

I will need the same info on the front spoilers. Those, I think a picture might be handy.

Thanks in advance.

Is this a T/A spoiler or a Go-Wing?

TA Spoiler. I wanted the Wing, but the wife wanted the spoiler, so I must have wanted the spoiler too, because that is what I got. Painted Semi Gloss.

I can't put my hand on any instructions for fitting the T/A style spoiler. Maybe someone else can help out here?

I would guess the spoiler lines up with the back edge of the trunk lid, right up to the chrome edge strip. A T/A owner might be able to advise on this.

The bolt holes may be different to the original 1970 items so I would just line it up and mark where you need to drill.

The spoiler doesn't go right to the edge. Hope this pic helps.

PERFECT! Thanks. It looks like I can use that. It looks like I will be able to position that devil nicely.

Well, I will try to remember the pictures but I got the spoiler installed. Looks great! thanks for the picture. It is what I needed for placement.

And, I got the front black out decal on. Man that was a job, but it turned out nice. Thanks Eric for the instructions.

Now, about those little wings for the front Valence???

Has anybody seen the one-piece fiberglass front spoiler? I remember seeing one in Anthony Young's book Mighty Mopars. It was on a T/A Challenger. It said that Dean Jeffries Automotive, Inc. offered one for $49 back in 70 or 71.

I would love to get a hold of one.

Yeah, thats what I thought. Boy those two little spoilers look soooo cool, hey, now wait a minute, they made a real cool, superdueper, righteous looking one piece spoiler?! Way cool! Yup, thought the same thing too.

The only question now is, does anyone still make such a thing for a 30 year old car?

Is a 70 cuda go wing the same as a 70 challenger?
If not what is different.
thanks

They are the same but I think the brackets could be slightly different?. There is a difference between 1970 and 1971 wings.

I don't like them.

Dave, I hate them to. They are not the most handsome spoiler to grace a Mopar. I think the ducktail spoiler is an improvement over the Go Wing, perhaps even more practical and functional, not to mention better looking.
