Is there suposed mounting brackets that mount to the underside of the trunk for the rear spoiler of a T/A challenger in order to have weight distribution? My spoiler is just in the holes in the deck lid and bolted down. I want to get this thing back together the right way.The car was not complete when I bought it. I want to make this thing whole again and the way it is supposed to be. Any help out there?
Thanks
Alan

The spoiler just sits on the trunk lid and the 4 studs that come through are held tight with a special nut. There is a small metal bracket that sits inside the spoiler that the stud is in. The trunk lid should have the four holes cut out to access the studs, if not, you have a plain non-spoiler trunk lid which wouldn't be right for the T/A.

The spoiler also has 2 screws at each end at the side edge of the trunk lid that screw into a retainer clip that sits inside the spoiler.

There is a place that sells the hardware kit for the spoiler hold down but I can't remember who they are. I think they advertise in MCG.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Gord.
I have the correct trunk lid and the original spoiler. Just wasn't sure if there were mounting brackets for the weight distribution. The T/A is getting back together fsater than I had anticipated. it should be complete and panted within the next 3 weeks. If there anymore questions I will ask. You are all a great bunch guys & gals out there.I wish there were more people in this world like the people that are involved in this message board. It would be a much better place for all.
