Deputy questions

Would a Deputy have the same trunk lid with the four square holes for the spoiler on the inner strucure as a T/A and the word "DODGE"" applied instead of "Challenger"? Also, would a Deputy have interior door panels without the woodgrain inserts? One of my 1970 Challengers came with these parts on it - the R/T 440 six-pack car - and I'm curious about where they came from.

I know the woodgrain inserts are supposed to be there on the R/T, but these are black OEM door panels that never had inserts installed or any holes drilled in them. I thought they might be out of a Deputy model Challenger.

Well Jack. I owne a 70 deputy, but it doesn't have the four square holes you mentioned. There was also the "challenger" script applied. I never heard of the word "dodge" spelled out on the trunk lid. My interior code is L6x9, which means low, bucket, black(which you probaly allready know). I do actually have the woodgrain inserts in the door panels and on the center console, only not on the dashboard. Hopes this helpes.
