Go Wing vs TA Wing

I've heard both sides. Need an opinion. I have the Go-Wing, which is correct for my car- have not installed it yet.
Finally got 15" rims/ tires in back so she sits great now- and the wing should look nice too.

Thoughts?

Good question Chuck!
I had a nice old genuine T/A spoiler for my '72, never got around to fittin it tho
I didn't wanna drill the lid so I got some very strong double sided adhesive tape & stuck it in place.......... didn't like it when it was on! Good job I ain't poked holes in the trunk lid eh?

I think E bodies look good with a spoiler, but wings just don't suit em for me.
They look great in colour on a GTO, excellent in Matte black on a Mach 1, but on a Chally?

Your car tho Chuck, you done a pretty good job of making it look good so far, follow your instincts

Yeah, tough choice. I've seen a few R/T's with the wing and it looks good. I've also seen R/T's without and it looks good too.

Can't double-stick this one so it'll have to be drilled/ mounted LOL

You probably could use some double sided carpet tape or something similar just to mock it up and balance it on the trunk lid to see what it looks like

True. I might try that. Gotta be sure before I drill the trunk lid!

Post up a pic or two Chuck.
Are you leaving it black or painting it body colour?

I just managed to get hold of a cheap T/A spoiler (needs minor repairs, hence the cheapness!) - I was going to drill the trunk lid, but I'm now thinking about getting some of this stuff:

...what d'yall think? Might be a pig to get off again if I changed my mind later on down the road, but not as permanent as drilling holes....

I was gonna glue mine on with building adhesive Andy, like Gripfix or something similar

Would getting another trunk lid be an option? Then you could mount the Go-Wing on the spare and drive it for a while to see if you like it. Just spray-bomb the spare trunk lid and mount.

Drew has one on his Challenger.

Personally I don't like the wings. But do like the T/A spoiler which is why I put one on my 70 Challenger.

I asked the ebay seller about the Master Seal, and they said it was pretty permanent, probably not what I want! How 'permanent' do you think building adhesive would be Ade?

It's a high strength silicone Andy, doesn't set hard but grips like hell.

Drop me ya address & I'll post you one to try

Finally got round to fitting the spoiler. Wasn't sure at first (it's probably located slightly further forward than usual), but it's growing on me now.

Took a photo today:

...and tweaked it a bit!:

Yeah that looks very cool!
How did you fit it in the end?

That's OK, I got some adhesive from Wickes! I used the two good bolts & brackets that came with the spoiler on the two centre holes, then just glued the outer edges with the adhesive. If I ever take it off, I'll have two small holes to fill and whatever mess the adhesive leaves behind.
