17 x 8 Rallyes, 245/45-r17 Pirelli P1's all round

Before, with the original 14's

I'm a big fan of modern aftermarket rims and tyres on old cars, some enlightened people on here, Drew, been doin it for years Those alloy replicas of Magnums and Rallyes used to be scoffed at when they first got released and now they are very popular, hardly surprising when they look that good tho eh?
Your car looks beautiful, colour combo is fantastic, if I may suggest one change.............drop the ride height now and you'll be even happier

Fact is, the first 17-inch Rallye wheels (made by Wheel Vintiques) which could be found a few years ago look like they were drawn by a 7-year-old junkie with a soft spot for Hot Wheels (and in person, they're so out of proportion it's downright ugly).

On the other hand, the current wheels sold by Year One actually look pretty good.

Yes, I have 19" wheels on my hardtop Challenger.

I will be using steel 15" Rallyes on my convertible when I rebuild it someday, but I think the YO Rallyes might be nice too...µIt's overkiil for me though, since I won't need big brakes on a convertible.

Finding good 15" tires in tall sizes though, that is not getting easier as time goes by...And that's the best reason, in my opinion, to switch to 17" rims.

OOH YEA I love those , and the price aint bad either , nice addition to your car,

and as time progress the cost and availability of 15 inch tires is getting a bit harder

Exactly my feeling too.

But, although the new wheels are MUCH better than the original Wheel Vintiques AND the original steel 14-inchers, I am still not 100% sure about them. I think I would have to see them "in the flesh" to make up mind.

Love the metallic green on that car though.

Year One do a really nice alloy Magnum in 17" that I nearly bought for my Chally but I got a deal on those ARE Daytonas instead..................still ain't got em installed yet

Just thought I'd post a pic 'cause I couldn't find a single pic of these on a Challenger before I brought them, but I'm SO glad I did.

That's for sure. Now, if a friend in France could buy a set, so I can see them in person...
