Excellent stuff there, loved the Challenger droopy nose show car and the Opel GTs, Lambo Espada and Cougar convert, ta for sharing mate :mrgreen:

In the 1974 picture what Challenger is that at the bottom of the pic? thought it was Rod Shop but that's not quite the right paintjob. Could it be the Revell car?

I am not sure abouth which photo you are meaning.Is it the one below? If YES, then the following text is attached to the photo:

Looking North on the upper level of McCormick Place East, a very large crowd milled around the Dodge exhibit. A rear view of the NHRA Dodge Challenger driven by Mike Fons, is in the foreground. A rear view of a Demon 2-door is slightly to the right. The rear of a red/white Challenger is mid-photo.

Thanks Christer, yes that is the photo I was asking about. Binged Mike Fons and he was a Rod Shop guy in '71. He wasn't a lightweight, running Rod Shop cars and a Motown Missle car.

Thanks for sharing. Those were the years that I couldn't wait for the new cars to come out so Dad and I could visit the dealer show rooms.
