Norway is one of the richest country's in the world,due to oil.The tax rate on oil production is 90%.Every single Norwegian gets a piece of the action.Asked what would they do if the oil was given away??? The answer was "WAR".So the question is why did Bertie Ahern give away our natural resources,for absolutely nothing???

Same happened in the UK mate. The British government gave most of the rights away to North Sea oil and gas because they didn't want to spend tax payers money on the exploration and development.
That is what happens when you have to think about getting re-elected every few years.

But we are faily fucked at the moment Dave we owe our nuts to the EU at the moment. If we done this oil gig ourselves we would be like Norway

That is ugly guys I remember watching the story about the British giving up there assets and I remember you Wayne briefly explaining your issue too,

we here have the opposite sitting on huge oil reserves, keeping the price up and the tree huggers wont let em drill anywhere especially since the disaster in the gulf............seems like there is more oil out there than we think ,and your government just gave it all up.......IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!
