I hope you Americans who are near this area are ok, my wifes best mate who lives there has just lost her home and her DOGS to the flames, I can't begin to imagine what they are feeling right now
Thoughts and fingers crossed for any one on here who may be affected by this.

When my sister first moved to Alberta years ago her husband built them a big house and one day, just as it was near completion, she went to the shops and for some reason she will never understand, she took the dogs as well as the kids with her.

There was nothing left of the house when she got back. Just a charcoal pit. All she had was the car and the clothes she was standing in. When her husband got home from work he just sat on a tree stump and cried.

It is devistating when something like that happens but at least my sisters dogs were saved and thank God for insurance.

Now that Dave is some sort of divine intervention or something like it......so what caused the fire mate.....could even begin to imagine what that must be like to face that type of tragic loss of family in a situation like that..thank the Gods they were ok.....

They found nothing obvious but suspected the wood burning stove in the basement. They had been living in the basement while they built the rest of the house above them.
