No shit? :madd:
Even here, where we beheaded our own royalty more than 2 centuries ago to avoid daily occurrences of this kind of petty annoyance, we still hear about this nonsense on almost every channel.

On the positive side, so many people took a day off today to watch that on the TV that the traffic is even lighter than during school vacations. We are almost at mid-August driving conditions.

Our local "people" magazine will probably make a historical sales number this week (three best sales ever were Queen Elizabeth's crowning, Queen Elizabeth's visit to France in '58, Prince Charles' wedding, I'll let you guess what the fourth will be).

The only merchandising item that might be mildly interesting (apart from the China-made commemorative tea cup with the picture of Harry instead of William on it, which will be a collector) will probably be the hardcore remake which may come from West Coast Productions or another Socal producer in a while... :s003:

Now, what would really be fun (in a Guy-Ritchie sort of way), would be if she said "No" at the appropriate time today...

Interesting (and a rather sour note) is that out of the last 5 prime ministers only the three Tory (Right Wing) PMs were invited to the wedding. Gordon Brown and Tony Blair were not.

There was also hardly anyone with dark skin invited either....

The Obamas didnt get an invite either as it was not a state wedding.

But the missus did tell me that the real reason, or so they say, that the Obamas didnt get an invite was because the last time the queen meet the obamas Mrs Obama put her arm around the queen in a friendly type of gesture, which aparently is a big no no to touch the queen, and after the meeting the queen stated she never wanted to be in that womans presence again. Well thats the word going around anyway.
