1970 Hemi R/T review from 1969 Car and Driver

The author of this obviously had a girlfriend who dumped him so she could go out with a guy who drives a challenger.....
• Lavish execution with little or no thought to practical application = muscle car
• Bald faced replica of camaro/firebird, this is like comparing a miss world contestant (challenger) with a pit bull terrier (camaro)
• Perfectly satisfactory for ordinary manoeuvres like going to church and fetching grandma (if your grandma happens to be J. Lo)

‘price as tested’ presented as a graph! Awesome...

Theres a well known publication of Dodge Muscle road tests, makes for good reading, when I get home I'll dig out the ISBN and you can order it from Amazon or similar

Yes I have had that book for about 20 years I think. Has two or three Challenger road tests in it I think?
