It would take more than a bit of snow to worry a tough old cookie like Eddie.

Even worse weather in Queensland Australia. They are still recovering from the floods and now they are expecting 200mph winds and a 7 metre storm swell!

Thanks for the concern Wayne & Dave,,we lucked out and only recieved 2 inches of ice and an inch of snow. The University has been closed since Mon. 1st time in over 30 years! It seems like Oklahoma and Chicago were hit especially hard with over 2 feet of snow in places. Barc 308,(Fal) is probably buried!!!

I saw that on the Weather channel Drew. It reminded me of our trip,,when you said the Weather Channel always leaves Colorado 'out' of the forecast picture! It's true,,they always show evrywhere around there but never the Denver area! I think it's supposed to get to 50 F. this weekend for you guys! Time to take out the 70!! the poor blokes in Australia,,,man!!!!! :(

Been sunny and 40's- 50's, here. Only in the 20's F., at night though. I won't complain one bit. :D That is kinda weird, that the Denver area is never in the forcast. :? Now it's to mind, I'll be looking for that.

I live on the east coast down in southern Australia, the bad weather is a thousand miles from my house. It was 42 degrees (108 f) here on Tuesday!
I have some friends that live in the area where the cyclone is but they are okay. No reported deaths so far so that is one good thing. Lots of dammage though.

Some of that storm force somehow magicly traveled to the other side of the world last night.

For about 20 minutes when i was out walking the dog it went from dry and breezy to 70mph gusts and heavy horizontal rain. I was nealy blown off my feet and was completely soaked in seconds. The dog look scared. When twigs and branches started flying about I got scared.

20 mins later it was back to dry and breezy. Weird.

Not too bad here. Had a couple inches of ice then a couple inches of snow. All the weather people were predicting 12+ inches of snow over a couple inches of ice. so the whole city shut down  When I drove to work two nights ago the highway was plowed but not cleared. The only little bit of trouble I had was in the subdivision that hadn't been plowed (still hasn't been plowed). Had to cover for Chicago one night as they couldn't get to work. They got 22 inches of snow. I miss my truck :( but the little Corolla front wheel drive is great.
Eddie, did you take one of your trucks out to play?

Yeah, Barc I took the W-150 out but the next day I sold it! The guy down the block has a Z-28 Camaro of all things, and has always loved my Black Dodge. It's gone. He just lives down the road. I have a shitload of N.O.S. parts for it that werent included and all have been discontinued from Dodge. They fit my 90 but would fit other models. I'm gonna use that 'Parts' money for the 73 Challenger that I am getting ready to pick up in a month or 3. The black dodge contributed to pay off my trailer so the money went straight to the Bank. The Cummins diesel Dodge is still in my shop, waxed and spotless, today it gets driven in the snow, ice, salt, sand. 1st winter it will ever be driven in!

Yeah , I never had it rustproofed or undercoated. I always drove my older Dodge in the Winter at least when they salted the roads down. It's still clean underneath! It should be the last truck I'll ever buy and has the 6-Speed plus 5.9 CumminsTurbo. I dont like the newer Common Rail Injected 6.7 Dodge Trucks. They are VERY expensive to fix.

Sorry to hear the old girl is gone but glad it freed you up some $$-wise. I realy liked that truck (actually like both of yours). If I can ever get my '99 running again, I'll have to tow the RC (no plates) up there so we can go out and play. I'm hoping to make it to the Mopar Nats this year too (fingers crossed)
