I know I'm mad on Hotchkis products at this moment in time, but this is the rolling advert that swung me toward using their products. I'd love to add some T/A stripes, spoilers and a snorkel hood to my yellow friend and try and replicate the look of this car :wink http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvnRmtsQ ... re=related:

I think that car needs more than just lap belts for driver and passengers.

I laughed to myself just then as I remembered my wife hitting heads with her friend on the back seat of my Challenger once when I spun the car around.
I think one ended up on the others lap as well. :D

My mate was in the passenger seat and we got to the end of a narrow dead end street with lines of parked cars each side.
My mate said "Now you are going to have to do like a one million point turn to get turned around".
I said "It's alright as I have power oversteer".
He says "What's power oversteer"? and I grinned and stamped on the throttle and spun the steering wheel.
The Chally just span on the spot and faced the opposite way.

However my wife and the other girl on the back seat did end up in a pile in one corner of the rear seat, screaming and rubbing their heads.

It pays to shop around for similar parts to the Hotchkis stuff. Some other vendors supply parts just as good for much less.

Their strut rods, for example, are $300 a pair but CAP Auto Products sell a very good quality version for $180.

However I don't like the CAP upper control arms. It pays to do your research on all this stuff.

I'd heard good things about the Hotchkis springs, and cos I wanted to use a set of torsion bars and springs from the same source, I got quotes from a few people. In the end I narrowed it down to Firm Feel and Hotchkis, a mate got me a better price on the Hotchiis parts, so I went with them.
Even without sway bars the car is going to feel so much better after I've done all the bushes and fitted the new springs, can't wait to drive it :)

It doesnt take a ton of money to get these challys to handle,

just some minor upgrades, and they can run with the best of them,

I have blown people away at the track so bad I noticed 5 mustang guys crawling under my car and were quite shocked to see mostly stock parts
