yea that is the set up have seen that cotter pin is an easy way to remove it,perhaps i thought goober or gomer lost the pin and used a bolt,but after further review my challenger is set up the same with 2 bolts i wonder if there is a difference between power and non power.

but i, well actually Lisa did the grunt work with the wrench turning, she also removed the steering column, im a lucky man to have her help, she helped me keep my head for this shit

, she didnt like the head liner coming down on her she got all grossed out, its one of those hard card board headliners and it had a bunch of rotten foam in it

ok the fish is on the spit, and i have another pic of the hole, it looks like it was cut for something, perhaps a coffee percolator

Drew, could it be that they had a electric fuel pump in that spot? Maybe a large hole for the Gabriel Hi-Jacker's air lines?? I have a prospect on my truck sale, the kid next door to me is joining the Marines and they are gonna give him a big signing bounus,(Afghanistan one way ticket, free fatigues and free rifle)) So that 72 is looking good again This time I wont contact Phil till I get the cash in my hand BTW,,love the 'spit'!!!!

this spit is so awesome,i can sit in a chair and work and just spin it as i need to, amazing

ok i got the Eastwood underemover , and it works great, the best results are when i left it on over night and that worked ,one pass with the scraper, and a scrub with scotch brite and wipe it with a towel,amazing results

ok made a little more progress got all the undercoat off

,removed every last thing that can be removed,

and blasted it down,

and bought a sand blaster, cleaned up big parts,

and bought a tumbler and am cleaning the small parts,

got a few pix,

also picked up some front end parts cap auto tubular lca,s and dynamic alloy strut rods,its just a mock up and i intend on detailing this, and using P-S-T,s uca,s

oh yea this spit is really nice to have it is the cats meow when it comes to this kind of work i cant tell you how well this thing works.

and yes dave i cant wait to see what this front end drives like

So today is our anniversary,people asked what i got her,i said new upper and lower control arms,and some struts so she can strut her stuff,that is cool stuff for her anniversary right?

Don't forget you will have to "slip her a length" at some point today too.

We're going to a wedding today. One of my friend and, co-worker is tying the knot today.

Thanks for all the congrats ,,

Lisa and I always end up working on her car on our anniversary ,kind of a thing we do to spend time together,

but this time (i didnt get laid) but i we laid this(well i did the laying 21 lbs stones,over 185 of them,and various sizes of flag stone a local stone full of color and an occasional fossil, i did get a fossil stone),

but none the less i now have a place not full of crap ,sharp,quartz stones, full of weeds,

but a real out door area to sit and enjoy the outdoors and eat a good meal, OUTSIDE!

Ok the fish is back from the media blaster just picked it up,

my time spent scraping/cleaning etc. was worth it, the did pretty much the whole car minus the roof its already had the paint removed,but it cost me $385.00 ,

They use a media called "Starbright" and it is a by product used in mining titanium,

the key is it is round,and has no sharp edges

,they use a variety of media, like they use ground up plastic for instance on the body parts,

he said they no longer use organic stuff like peanut shells or walnut shells because its to hard to keep the dust down and it is volatile



But first its party time

I have 2 turkeys in the smokers, a big ole ham,about 10 gallons of home made green chili,and like one or two beers, that will make em bring there own
