Ok good question ,I prepped the area around the glass, got some epoxy primer and then sealed it with color .

I want to get the glass in it and then get the body sealed up with primer to drive it ,and then if need be I will remove the front and rear glass, but my intentions are to hope fully keep it there also I dont plan on using the factory trim ,I want a flush look like a modern car so me and my glass guy have a plan he has done it before ,so stay tuned I MIGHT have glass in it today :D

Yea it is a bit easier to do alot of things with out the glass, but with the dash in most of the other trim parts go on pretty easy, hell I was enjoying working on the engine , but then the fenders went on and now it is a long reach,

but it all has to go on sooner or later and my biggest thing is I just want to get it on the road, get it running reliably, then get the body done , before interior ,to keep all the dust out as it is I will have to tape alot off anyway ,but beats trying to keep the trim parts clean.

I kind of do it as a rolling resto , that way the car dont just sit, this is the way I did my chally , I know a bit backwards but in the end if I have to pull the glass ,no biggie it is pretty easy with the right tool :D

Yea it made me think about the guys that dont wear helmets on their bikes, at 75 mph on their sloppy sounding harleys ,gritting teeth in the wind...............

Here is a quick pic of the trim, they gave me a test sample and with a bit of heat this will not only lay down but it will be glued in with urethayne , two reasons for this , I want a different look, smoother, and the other reason is to seal up the glass the factory trim uses screws and eventually those leak causing rust issues.

A small bit of heat and it will go easy ,actually it will go with out heat ,it will sit right in the channel :D really flexible stuff  on a car with corners you can do an angle cut and bond it and it looks good but for Cudas they have rounded corners so this will look real nice and smooth transition
