Good to see his diligence paid off in getting their Challenger back. :thumbsup:

Poor guy that took the hit on the car when they confiscated it though. It must have been a tough loss. Probably a few law suits with this story. A couple of subpoena's will help follow the chain of ownership for sure.

Owner was actually lucky not to have insurance. In recent VW bus case Allstate paid original owner back in 1974 and therefore car is now property of insurance company - not original owner it was stolen from.
