International Harvester, where did they fit in?

Postby Goldenblack440 » 13 Jul 2009 11:19

Just wondering...was International Harvester a sub division of Chrysler, like Dodge and Plymouth, or just a separate entity that used their mechanical parts (like Jenson with the 440 and 727 etc in the Interceptor)...? Thanks

Thanks, yeah there's definitely a link with Chrysler, in the 70's and 80's they had one or several assembly lines set aside for their production. As Ian said they used the 318, therefore would have used the TF's. And in the power steering box movie posted on this forum under steering etc, they mention Int. Harvester. Probably never know the full story, just curious.
